Our colleagues gave another lecture at BME!

As part of the Civil Engineering Automation and Modelling course in the Building Information Engineering MSc program, the bim.GROUP team was invited for the third time to share our knowledge and experience, helping future engineers explore parametric-algorithmic design.

  • Márton István Juhász introduced the fundamental concepts, definitions, and software solutions.
  • Dávid Lewandowski guided students through the parametric design process using a sample project.
  • Zsolt Gutléber provided a detailed demonstration of the Grasshopper software.

During the half-day session, students gained insight into some of bim.GROUP’s most exciting parametric design solutions from recent years, including the National Athletics Centre, Hungexpo F1 building, and Alba Arena projects.

The course is conducted in English, allowing both Hungarian and international students to participate. Throughout the semester, they work in groups of four to complete various project assignments—one of which is related to the parametric design principles we introduced.

We are excited to see what innovative solutions the students will come up with!
