Our design team carried out the fabrication design of the steel structures of Hungary’s tallest building, as well as the nodal calculations to be developed within the framework of the fabrication design.
The project involved a steel structure with a total weight of 900 tonnes, including the following components:
- the canopies
- the structure of two podium stairs
- bridges between the podium and the tower
- the roof structure above the 5th and 6th floors of the podium
- the structure of the glass roof and the connecting neck
- the 24-metre high steel structure of the crown at the top of the tower, and
- the temporary support system for the steel structure of the crown during assembly
The steel structure of the crown has been optimised for both fabrication and production assembly using the elements of parametric design.
